Honey Sweet Cookies

Honey and cinnamon make a sweet cookie your dog will love. 


240 ml (1 cup) Honey

120 ml (1/2 cup) Vegetable Oil

2 eggs

115g (1/2 cup) Lard (or butter / cooking margarine)

360g (4 cups) of White Flour

2 tsp Cream of Tartar

1 tsp Baking Soda

2 tsp Ground Cinnamon

Preparation and Cooking

Put the honey, oil, lard and eggs into a large mixing bowl and beat until combined. Gradually mix in the flour, baking soda, cinnamon and cream of tartar. Knead the dough and leave to stand for a few minutes. Pinch small sections of dough off with your fingers and form into round balls, place on a well greased baking sheet and press down with your fingers. Leaving plenty of room between each one as they will spread during cooking. Bake in the middle of a pre-heated oven (400 degrees) for 8 to 10 minutes. Transfer onto a wire rack for cooling. Keep the cookies in an airtight container, or freeze down.
